Unpretentious, delicious, popular, and beautiful scenery. Order at the counter, get your number, utensils and water and find yourself a spot. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but people don't linger and the restaurant is large. Sandwiches are delicious, fries are ok. Burrata was yummy. There's a lot for cars (pay), and lots of free three hour parking spots.

The Joinery was such a sweet surprise to find in beautiful Sausalito. Outdoor restaurants for us newbies parents are really where our heads turn these days. Sausalito is filled with so many amazing spots it's sometimes hard to know which and where to go, but this is a special one. Whether you're looking to dine indoor/out, all patrons wait in one line for register ordering/with table numbers given. Honestly I don't mind this type of service sometimes, it gives ya time here to feel the onshore breeze on the waterfront patio while making your mind up between ordering the rotisserie chicken or fried chicken sandwich, ha. We went with the burrata & sweet peppers, the fried Brussels sprouts, the porchetta sandwich, the fried chicken sandwich, the soup of the day, and side of roasted potatoes. I figured with getting the roasted potatoes I could get the drippings from the rotisserie chicken still, so pro tip..they were excellent! I'm usually not extremely adventurous with my palate when eating while exploring, but the standout here for me (I mean, you truly can't go wrong with this menu) was the burrata & sweet peppers. Your served this amazingly warm and crusted country bread that provides the perfect edible serving tray for the dish. The meat for both sandwiches was so clean and juicy, the flavor profiles of each dish were so vibrant and noteworthy, and you could taste the freshness and vivacity of each dish down to the aïoli served along side the Brussels. The Joinery also has kid's plates, is stroller friendly/doggy friendly, and has a nice drink list. Love how all those are in one sentence :) Can't wait to enjoy more from the menu soon here! *to note* there is a parking attendant on weekends, it can get pretty busy in lot!

A very scenic spot to stop for a drink and some food over looking the waterfront. Friendly service as you walk in, place your order and grab a seat, indoors or outside, the outside patio has stunning views. The food is what I would describe as healthy bar food, farm to bar, lol There is something for everyone here, adults, kids, vegetarian, meat eaters etc. We enjoyed our meal while basking in the sunshine outside on the patio taking in the lovely view. A really great spot. Plus a private parking lot, which is a plus.

Having returned to Joinery several times since my initial review I feel the need for an update. What was once 5-star worthy to me is now teetering on the edge of a low 4-stars. On my most recent visit the friend I was with ordered the 1/2 chicken plate ($19) and could barely get through it. She went in search of salt, to bring out some flavor, and reported that "even the (accompanying) chimichurri" seemed to be "missing garlic, or anything that lends a flavor". I had a similar issue with my Summer Salad ($16.50) which I had topped with that rotisserie chicken (+$7.50). I found myself back at the counter asking for more dressing because I could taste none on the salad. Then, when I got the extra dressing and poured it on I realized that it hadn't been missing; it simply had no taste profile. I cook a lot and understand how things like salt and garlic punch up the flavor profile. Here at Joinery it seemed like the kitchen had fully eliminated both from their kitchen. Perhaps they haven't, but the food was bland enough to leave me wondering. At more than $25 all in for a meal-sized salad (that was otherwise full of fresh ingredients) I expect something fully delicious. Unfortunately that's not been my experience on recent Joinery visits.

If you're visiting Sausalito and looking for lunch, Joinery is a great option! They have a variety of options on the menu including salads, sandwiches, fries, and beer. I've tried the Joinery Burger and Tuna Conserva Sandwich. Both of these were delicious. The burger was juicy and flavorful throughout. As a tuna lover, I enjoyed the tuna sandwich as well. They have indoor and outdoor dining with a nice view of the pier. The wait can be long during peak times, but they bring out your order in a timely manner.

I'd give this restaurant a solid 4/5! The dirty fries were delicious, i loved the crispy pork belly bits and garlic flavor, while the fries stayed crispy. For $7, it was worth the amount that was given! The brussels sprouts were good, nothing too special from typical fried brussels sprouts though. They were $12, I probably wouldn't get them again. The view is really nice, and I like how its order first and sit down. It keeps it more casual & w could find our own place to sit.

Food was delicious! I ordered a cheeseburger with a side of garlic fries. The buns were toasted perfectly and overall the burger was very satisfying. The garlic fries were the best I've had. I highly highly recommend ordering them if you're a fan of garlic. They do not shy away from putting garlic on the fries so each bite was garlicky and yummy. It's kind of a food hall vibe with communal tables. There were a good amount of tourists while I was there.

A cute spot in Sausalito right on the water. Plenty of parking nearby. Upon entering the menu is on the wall and easy to peruse. Counter service ordering was fairly easy and we went to seat ourselves. On our visit there was seating inside and the large doors were open to the patio which is where most people were sitting. The seating wrapped around the side and we grabbed a spot along the edge. It wasn't as nice as the patio views but still nice, although a bit windy. Food selections were a fancy grilled cheese, tacos, chicken sandwich and joinery burger. We also got regular fries and dirty fries. Food was good. Would've liked sides included rather than al a carte. Saw some of the salads which were very big and looked delicious. Tables were bussed as we were finishing and overall the location seemed well kept and clean. Overall a good, casual option in Sausalito.

Enjoyed my chicken sandwich overlooking the beautiful view of the harbor. The sandwich was perfectly crispy, fresh, and filling. The Joinery has the perfect ambiance to just hangout with friends or co-workers. It feels casual but also very high-end at the same time. Service was top notch and everyone was so friendly. We were only visiting, but I'd be back again whenever we're in the area.

In my opinion, the Joinery has really stepped up its game. Comparing the picture I took 2 years ago to the picture from today speaks for itself!! I took my mom here for Mother's Day right before the lunch rush and the service was quick and we easily found seats. The vibe is very laidback and the food is brought out to you pretty quickly after you order and they give you a number. Since the last time I came, they really got the potatoes right and they were so soft. The sandwich is filling but still leaves you feeling good after because of the balance of the arugula and fennel (and it's not oily for being a fried chicken sandwich). YUM
